Current position
Essential storage protects the service, authenticates users and administrators, remembers your explicit language choice and saves your privacy preferences. Optional Umami audience measurement and Crisp support chat remain off until you accept their respective purpose. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
On the SaaS, accepting support chat allows it to load when you open Support. On the public website, accepting chat allows its support widget to load. Crisp may receive connection data and whatever you choose to write or attach; Renovae does not automatically send your account name, email address or company name.
Accept all, Reject optional and Customize are available together. Custom choices start unchecked. You can use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time to change or withdraw optional consent without losing access to the service.
Technologies in use
- renovae_session: a secure, HTTP-only account session cookie that keeps a signed-in user connected to their workspace. It expires 30 days after sign-in, or after 7 days without activity, and is revoked on sign-out.
- Clerk authentication storage: essential cookies used only on the administrator area to sign in, maintain, and secure an administrator session. Duration follows the configured Clerk session policy.
- Cloudflare Turnstile storage and signals: used on the pilot form and the account registration form to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies.
- renovae_ref: a secure, HTTP-only, first-party cookie on app.renovae.io set only when a visitor opens a Renovae referral link. It contains the referral code and the time the link was opened, so that a registration can be credited to the partner who shared the link. It is not used for advertising or profiling, is not shared with the partner, is deleted when the visitor registers, and otherwise expires after 90 days.
- Crisp support-chat storage: allowed only with support-chat consent, to operate and preserve conversations. Duration follows the support provider's configured session and retention settings. Withdrawing consent unloads the service; existing browser storage can also be removed in your browser settings.
- renovae_cookie_preferences_v1: essential local browser storage containing your analytics and chat choices and their date. Choices expire after six months and are saved separately on each Renovae website origin. The former notice-dismissal preference does not count as consent.
- renovae_locale: a first-party cookie on renovae.io set only when a visitor selects English, French, or Dutch in the website language switch, so that renovae.io opens in that language on later visits. It contains only the language code and expires after 12 months. Without it, the website follows the browser's language setting.
- Self-hosted Umami: optional, cookie-free audience measurement on analytics.renovae.io. Its script and measurement requests are disabled before analytics consent. It measures page views and aggregate referrer, country, browser, device and operating-system dimensions.
Browser controls
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choices. Withdrawing an enabled optional purpose reloads the page to stop that provider. A browser can also delete or block storage, but blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, forms or security features from working. If preferences cannot be saved, optional services remain off.
